Deeply Satisfied
I am a 16 year old boy in grade 11. I live in a family of four, with one younger brother named Paul, who is in grade 10. I was born of parents meeting with the local church, and always attended the meetings. I think my first time I touched the Lord in a real way was when I was in grade 4 at a young people's retreat at Camp Parsons. After a meeting at the camp, a brother said that anybody who wanted to receive the Lord should stay after the meeting. I stayed, and so did a lot of young people my age. The brothers took us to a cabin, and helped us to pray to receive the Lord.
Since then, by the Lord's mercy, and by the help of the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, I have been going on with the Lord. In 1995 I was baptized, separating me from the kingdom of darkness, into the Kingdom of His marvelous light (Colossians 1:13). The local churches have helped me greatly. Without the local churches, I don't know where I would be. I also praise and thank the Lord for the Recovery Version of the Bible; it has been such a great, rich supply! I have also been nourished and supplied by the ministry books, which help me to go on with the Lord, and equip me with the truth. In the local church, I am deeply satisfied. I praise the Lord that I can go to the meetings and enjoy such a wonderful Christ with all the believers in the local churches!
